I have been living continuously outside of Canada since 2002.
I have never claimed my son or daughter since birth. We have not recived any money from Child Tax. Can I claim for my son and daughter and can I claim for back pay? Thank you.

That is my question in order to get my retroactive payment. We received a letter from immigration on Feb 27, 2010 which we accepted as a resident and we had to send some papers, in August of that year we got a letter giving us notice that the September 1, 2010 we were going to withdraw our residence. in October did the paperwork for the baby bonous. We have a son who was born here and a daughter who was born in our country she came to Canada when she was 4 years old, Always we paid our taxes since 2001 and we had the residence in 2010. But they Only canceled two months September and October 2010. our friends tell us that they should have paid 11 months retroctivo. We can help on this topic.

@Cherish - You should definitely apply. Worst case scenario is that you don't get the money.
