Get Your H1N1 Shot And Some Links

I got my H1N1 shot on Tuesday night – no waiting. If you live in Toronto and have been afraid of the lineups then put your fears away – I went to the East York clinic and there was no waiting. The lady there told me that it was busy in the afternoon but after 5pm there is rarely any waiting. You can check for wait times but the East York clinic always says 30 minutes even though it wasn’t when I was there. Get it done!

Real Estate links

There was quite a bit of real estate posting on the web this week.

April (one of my fave writers) had a post on GRS talking about proper house size – needless to say there were lots of interesting comments.

Her post led to another post by Tyler K who is one of the more interesting commenters on the web – he lives in a very small house but it suits him and his wife just fine. Tyler has his own blog and just completed an interesting 30 day project where he took a picture of something interesting each day for 30 days. Some nice pics.

Dave from Canadian Dream explains how he wanted a small house but his wife said “I will not live in a garden shed no matter how ‘cool’ you think it is“.

If you are doing online shopping then beware of certain scams – some companies ask just before closeout if you want an “extra discount” – if you click yes then you just signed up for a whole pile of extra charges.
