Of course, people don't like to think of it that way, but if it were just about the booze you could do it at home for cheaper. Something similar to this existed in NYC (and probably elsewhere as well) at the turn of the 20th century, actually. Women would go to special clubs and pay to ballroom dance with attractive, dashing, and charming young men. The men would flatter their guests and make them feel wanted.
